These four companions originated from the highly advanced TRAPPIST-1 star system. In their native world, the concept of "names" does not exist; however, due to their striking resemblance to four of Earth’s beloved canine breeds, they have temporarily adopted the earthly monikers of Corgi, Poodle, Shiba Inu, and Dachshund.

To the higher intelligence of TRAPPIST-1, the human tendency to immerse the majority of a lifetime into work—frequently at the expense of health, family, and personal spaces—remains a profound paradox. Driven by curiosity, this crew resolved to establish sanctuaries of joy across Earth, launching curated activities and seasonal gatherings to advocate for a balanced existence and unlock higher dimensions of happiness.

Amusingly, their initial coordinate of descent on Earth happened to be a local coffee house. The enveloping aroma of brewing coffee and the unfiltered laughter of friends sharing a moment resonated perfectly with their mission. Thus, their earthly headquarters was appropriately named Coffee Friends.
